Editorial Policy

How The Remote Brief researches, writes, reviews and corrects its articles.

Our readers use what we publish to make real decisions about their jobs and money. This policy explains how we earn and keep their trust.

Accuracy and sourcing

We base factual claims on primary sources wherever possible: government agencies, official statistics, laws and regulations, and employers' own published information. Where a claim depends on a source, we link to it or list it at the end of the article. We prefer the most recent official data and say when figures are estimates, ranges or vary by location.

Independence

Our editorial team decides what we cover and what our articles say. Advertisers and partners do not review, approve or influence our content. Advertising is labelled and kept visually separate from articles.

How articles are produced

Articles are researched and written by our editorial team. We may use software tools, including AI-assisted research and drafting tools, as part of that process. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked against sources and edited by a person before it is published, and our editors are responsible for everything we publish.

Keeping content current

Rules, pay rates and programs change. We review articles on a regular schedule and when we learn something has changed. Articles show the date they were published and, when they have been meaningfully revised, the date they were last updated or reviewed.

Corrections

When we find or are told about an error, we correct it promptly. Significant corrections are noted in the article. To request a correction, email info@alphazyl.com with the article link.

Not professional advice

Our articles are general information. They are not legal, tax, financial or career advice for your specific situation. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, check with the relevant agency or a qualified professional.
